Right, so it was a part of a challenge to make a game in 36 words. The visual of a single die per sentence is supposed to give the impression of a game played with only one, six sided die.
The game assumes a victory of sort was already achieved, in the real world, preferably a political victory. Now you throw a die trying to roll a 6, every time you fail, you realize that your victory might mean pain for other people, and you face that fact with the other players together.
